Day 11

Dear Lizard Brain

You really get on my nerves. Always getting in the way. Every time I am making progress, you want to interupt me and chit chat about all the wrong things. I'm trying to lose weight and you keep telling me about how good GooGoo clusters are. So what! They are good, in moderation.

Here I am struggling with time management, and all you do is flood my mind with to do lists, goals, finances. Why don't you just leave me alone and let me sit down quietly and get a real schedule together so that I don't need list after lists.

I just want to be the successful Proverbs 31 woman that I know I can be and you are constantly blocking my blessings. I'm sick of you. Get out!

Now that I know your name, you are no longer welcome lizard brain. Kick rocks! hasta lavista! peace out homie! Hollaaaaa!!! Get to steppin'

No Love

Day 11

Day 10

Strange thing, today a coworker mentioned that they were starting a dietary change plan.I will offered to partner with them(during work hours) to be accountability partners sort off. Hope I can hold up my end of the accountability.

Day 9

I too want to manage my time better. To do this, I have been planning ways to use my slow cooker, microwave, bread machine, and oven to get dinner ready while I am at work. Everything has a timer on it, and I work 5 minutes from home. I could easily start dinner on my lunch by setting up the bread machine, putting dishes in the microwave/oven and setting the timers to start them shortly before my family arrives. We could have fresh bread every day.

Day 8

  • What was the most important thing you learned about yourself this week?

I have learned that my time is more valuable than I thought. While I have a serious issue with time management, I really enjoy giving my time to my family. Other things suffer because of that.

  • What has been your favorite exercise so far? What did you like about it?

I enjoyed the life map. It was good to see things in color in front of my face. Now I know what I have to do.

  • Which exercise did you struggle with the most and why?

So far no one exercise has been a struggle. Just finding time to complete the exercises.

  • 6 carb servings per day with one serving being 5-20 grams each

Its that simple.

Day 1

I've selected my notebook and plan to use this blog to chronicle my 31 Day Reset
Today is Day 1 for me, but I am a day late. BUT no fear. Superwoman can catch up.

My Mantra is "Press Forward" I received this little diddy yesterday as I reflected on 2011 and asked God what 2012 has for me. He sent me to Philippians 3:13-14 and alas! There it was: Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

My theme song is Well Done by Deitrick Haddon. I LOVE this song and it gives me a jolt everytime I hear it.
My birthday is in 26 days. I am so excited to even see 35. I know that may seem very awkward, but 35 has always been one of those milestone numbers for me. I feel like I am at a good place in life as a wife and mother and to reach 35 is going to make it even better.
In preperation, I am planning to lose some weight. No specific number, just some progressive weight loss and toning up. I think I will try the bellyfat cure again. I've done it in the past and it worked. . .as long as you stick to it. With that being said. On your mark! Get set! Go!!!!!
